We offer shipping on all of our products within the continental
US. Most products are available for immediate delivery and can be
shipped within 10-14 buisness days. However actual delivery time
depends on what you actually order. Especially, when you
order oversized, too fragile or imported items.
Just few trucking companies handle oversized stuff. Most
of them charge ridiculos prices for that. Most of the rest don't
really care about delivering your order in one piece. Our reliable
transportation partners are not available 24/7 to cover all destinations,
however we are doing our best to arrange delivery asap.
Fragile merchandize needs to be carefully inspected for
scratches, chips and cracks at our warehouse. In must be overpacked
(in all possible means, if you order one - you'll see) to ensure
the item will be delivered undamaged. And the same careful selection
of shipping company, because neither we nor you want the merchandize
to be delivered in shards.
We have lots of imported merchandize in our warehouse -
different finishes and different upholsteries, but thanks to our
overseas partners, much more is available to backorder. However,
we need to order the merchandize first. The order must be put together
at European factory, send out by truck to the port, loaded to the
vessel and cleared out by customs. Even the fastest cargo ship need
almost 3 weeks to cross the Atlantic. Then cargo must be cleared
out by US Customs, discharged from the vessel, released from the
port and delivered to our own or our wholesale partner's warehouse.
Then, it must be inspected for quality and possible damages (it's
not the pulpwood, you know) and sometimes (in very rare cases) -
turned down and sent back to the manufacturer, so the whole cycle
might start again.
Please do not panic if your order is delayed. We do our best to
send it out asap (we don't need oversuffed warehouse either). Just
give us a call and we'll try to provide our best estimate
for the delivery date. We are not frauds or bubble dot-coms, operating
from parent's garage. We are well established business with more
than 15 year long history. We care about our reputation and resolving
those rare cases of reasonable disputes with clients to mutual satisfaction,
even sometimes it cost us much more than we've expected.
We offer curbside delivery only for large items, unless otherwise
specified in product description or arranged separatelly and confirmed
it writing by FurnitureNY.com. If the item you purchased is applicable
for free assembly - it must be confirmed in writing by FurnitureNY.com.
Usually, large items with complicated assembly, like bedroom sets
are applicable within specified states, but confirmation is still required. Tables, stools
and small accessories are NOT applicable for free assembly. FurnitureNY.com
cannot be held liable if customer misread or misunderstood our policies
and never clarified the issue with FurnitureNY.com staff in writing
PRIOR to the purchase.

Inspect your furniture for damage before you sign the trucking
company delivery acceptance form. Do not sign the trucking company
acceptance form until you (or your agent) has inspected your furniture
for damage during shipping. If your furniture is damaged beyond
repair refuse delivery. In the event your furniture is damaged during
shipping notify us immediately. A place for you to record damage
will be provided to you on a receipt given to you by the truck driver
when your furniture is delivered. You MUST list any damage on the
trucking company delivery form. NO DAMAGE CLAIMS WILL BE ALLOWED
IF ITEMS ARE SIGNED FOR CLEAR! NO CONSEALED DAMAGE ALLOWED. NO DAMAGE
CLAIM WILL BE ALLOWED IF COMPLAINT WAS MADE LATER THAN IN 48 HRS
AFTER THE DELIVERY.
Take photographs of any damage including the packing and the furniture.
Please forward photographs to us. Notify us immediately if you notice
any damage. The trucking company is responsible to reimburse you
for any damage that occurs in shipping. The manufacturer will also
replace any piece damaged prior to shipping.
Your must receive authorization from FURNITURENY.COM prior to returning
any item due to damage in shipping. FURNITURENY.COM is NOT LIABLE
for any damage that occurs if you ship your furniture yourself (pick
up from our warehouse or factory with your own truck or shipper).
